About

McGowan holds a Master of Fine Art from the University of Ulster and has worked extensively in inclusive arts, community engagement, and international collaboration. She was a co-author of the Erasmus+ Urban Survival Kits Strategic Partnership project with partners across Europe, led by the University of Atypical.

Recent exhibitions, screenings, and residencies include FE McWilliam Gallery, University of Atypical, Uillinn: West Cork Arts Centre, and Shore Collective projects.

Awards and support include the Freelands Foundation, Arts Council of Northern Ireland, DDASF, and Arts & Disability Forum awards.
